Resin Supervisor

Our client, a leading manufacturer within the engineering and industrial sector, is seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our Resin production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set daily, weekly, and monthly objectives and communicate them to employees.
• Organise workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing production schedules.
• Apply labour relations procedures in accordance with company policies and applicable legislation.
• Ensure employees have the necessary tools and resources to achieve daily production targets.
• Compile and submit weekly and monthly reports as required by the Production Manager.
• Train new employees on machine operation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Enforce adherence to health and safety regulations and address non-compliance where necessary.
• Develop weekly production plans and communicate any deviations that may affect delivery schedules.
• Measure process scrap and implement lean manufacturing principles to continuously reduce waste.
• Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions where required.
• Ensure the effective utilization of machinery, equipment, and production resources.

Experience

• Must have at least 5 years' experience in Resin Production.
• Minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Relevant Degree or National Diploma in Production, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Computer literacy is essential.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Resin Production environment, including supervisory experience.

Salary Package: R30 000 p/m
