The successful candidate will gain exposure to monthly management reporting, reconciliations, fixed asset management, and year-end audit support while working alongside an experienced team of accounting professionals.

• Download and maintain bank statements from various banking platforms.
• Process sales journals, accrual journals, and monthly accruals.
• Maintain and update the fixed asset register.
• Perform loan account reconciliations and allocations.
• Reconcile credit card and cheque account statements to the general ledger.
• Prepare and maintain debtor account reconciliations.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of general ledger accounts.
• Prepare monthly management account reconciliations.
• Compile management packs for review by management.
• Assist with year-end audit requirements and requests.
• Perform general bookkeeping functions up to trial balance.

• Minimum 3 years' bookkeeping experience within an accounting firm or similar environment.
• Proven experience preparing management accounts and reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting processes.
• Xero experience is non-negotiable.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
