Summary Of Key Responsibilities
Producing project time and resource schedules on “Gantt and PERT charts.” Monitoring and reporting on progress and forecasting project objectives to establish the best manner in which projects can be completed. Determining the Project Scope and the appropriate methods for completing the project and disseminating the project into project activities. Produce the relevant tools (dashboards, histograms etc.) to enable effective monitoring and control.

Minimum Work Experience
- 5 - 10 years’ experience in a construction environment
PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate the following:
- Proven experience within organisations operating within EPC and Renewable Energy projects and exposure to comparable project environments.
- Senior-level capability, evidenced by a strong track record in project planning, scheduling, and controls within complex construction or EPC projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera (P6), including the development, maintenance, and optimisation of detailed project schedules.
- Highly developed Excel skills, including the ability to design, automate, and maintain advanced dashboards and reporting tools for project monitoring and control.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, enhance, or innovate planning systems, methodologies, and reporting frameworks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholders.
- A resilient and professional character, with the ability to operate under pressure and contribute positively to team performance.
- Alignment with the company’s values and culture, with a collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Tender
- Participate in tender programme development.
- Maintain effective communication with the Proposals department.
- Provide regular planning and progress feedback to the Proposals Engineer.
- Document management and revision control.
Planning and Scheduling
- Establish cost-effective construction methodologies and convert them into workable programme models.
- Coordinate schedules from multiple contributors and incorporate information into the overall Project Master Schedule.
- Evaluate critical paths and alternative scheduling options to optimise project execution and resolve potential issues.
- Analyse and report monthly deviations from project plans.
- Develop Project Baseline Programmes, milestone indicators, and network precedence schedules with critical paths.
- Develop and maintain control schedules for daily activities.
- Prepare action plans and recommend corrective measures for deviations from project targets.
- Monitor actual project progress against baseline schedules and report on performance.
- Develop construction programmes using Microsoft Project, Candy, and/or Primavera.
- Develop and maintain project schedule baselines and update schedules regularly.
- Develop and implement planned versus actual progress dashboard in Excels.
- Propose and evaluate alternative action plans to address project deviations.
- Develop and maintain integrated progress reporting systems, including schedules, S-curves, milestone tracking, tables, and earned value analysis.
- Facilitate accurate project execution, monitoring, and reporting.
- Prepare and issue updated project schedules to the Manager: Projects.
- Maintain Primavera project files.
- Compile and monitor production reports and provide recommendations to management.
Resource Forecast
- Implement measures to monitor resource planning across all projects to support cash flow and resource forecasting.
- Evaluate resource allocation and provide recommendations to maintain required project progress.
- Compile resource allocation and optimisation reports.
Commercial
- Maintain records of all project delay events.
- Monitor and track commercial timelines.
- Capture project events on the Smartsheet system.
- Conduct schedule impact analyses.
- Support the preparation and submission of claims.
