Investment Associate

A diversified investment holding company is seeking an experienced Investment Associate to join their team. The successful candidate will support the Head of Investments and the investment team by conducting investment analysis, financial modelling, due diligence, research, transaction execution, post-deal monitoring, and reporting. The role is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, preparing investment documentation, assessing commercial viability, and supporting strategic investment decisions across a diverse portfolio of industries.

Experience Requirements

• BCom Honours in Finance, BSc Honours in Financial Management, or a related qualification (Postgraduate qualification such as MBA, CFA, or CA(SA) preferred)
• Minimum 5 years' experience in investment management, corporate finance, private equity, investment banking, or a related field
• Proven experience in financial modelling, company valuations, and investment analysis
• Experience conducting commercial and financial due diligence
• Strong understanding of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), deal structuring, and transaction execution
