Our client who is based in Klapmuts, is looking for a professional, organised, and tech-savvy Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, customers, and suppliers.

This role is responsible for maintaining an efficient, welcoming reception area while providing administrative and business support across the organisation. The ideal candidate is organised, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to handle confidential information with professionalism.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Deliver a professional front-of-house experience by welcoming visitors, managing incoming calls and enquiries, and maintaining a neat and inviting reception area.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support, including coordinating meetings, managing couriers, maintaining records, and handling general office administration.
  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the office by managing stationery, consumables and refreshments, monitoring stock levels, obtaining supplier quotations, and supporting procurement activities.
  • Coordinate business travel across the Group, including flights, accommodation, vehicle hire, visas, and travel itineraries while identifying cost-effective travel solutions.
  • Support business operations by capturing maintenance job cards, maintaining accurate records, and providing administrative assistance to the HR and Marketing teams as required.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by directing client enquiries to the appropriate Key Account Manager and supporting customer engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain efficient administrative processes through accurate record-keeping, effective communication, and proactive support across multiple departments.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12 (Matric) with a relevant tertiary qualification (Diploma/Certificate) in Office Administration or a related field, coupled with at least 3 years’ experience in a reception or office administration role.
  • Strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills, with a professional telephone manner, excellent interpersonal skills, and a customer-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint), strong computer literacy, and experience with data capturing, record management, and digital business systems. Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot will be advantageous.
  • Experience coordinating business travel, managing office consumables and purchasing, with previous customer service or sales support experience considered an advantage.
  • A proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented individual who can effectively prioritise, multitask, maintain confidentiality, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid driver’s licence, own reliable transport, and the ability to work in a desk-based role for extended periods.
