- Manage and oversee daily health and safety activities on site.
- Identify hazard and other unsafe work practices on site.
- Ensure corrective measures with regard to all unsafe practices.
- Drive compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and all site safety procedures.
- Ensure that employees, contractors, visitors and other people who enter the site are wearing correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Conduct regular Health and Safety meeting and trainings, and keep records of such.
- Ensure Health and Safety signage on site are erected , visible and adhered to.
- Investigate all site workplace incident, accidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences.
- Maintain Health and Safety records, documentations, control registers and other information for audits and referral purposes.
- Ensure daily housekeeping at workplace and enforce accountability.
