Ladieswear Buyer to join a growing retail apparel business.

We're looking for a commercially minded professional with at least 5 years' fashion retail buying experience, proven range-building expertise, and a flair for identifying trends that drive sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and build commercially successful seasonal product ranges
• Research local and international fashion trends and competitor activity
• Source and develop innovative products aligned with customer needs
• Analyse sales, margins, stock performance and retail KPIs to maximise profitability
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve target costs, quality and delivery
• Manage the product development process from concept to delivery
• Work closely with Planning, QA, Marketing and other departments to ensure successful product launches
• Conduct market research and translate customer insights into winning product ranges
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team environment

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Buyer within a fashion retail environment
• Proven product development and range-building experience
• Strong commercial, analytical and negotiation skills
• Experience managing sales, margins and stock performance
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills
• Relevant qualification in Fashion, Retail Buying, Merchandising or similar advantageous
