SUMMARY

Our client, a well-established automotive dealership in Rustenburg, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Manager to lead the dealership's finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full financial function, ensuring compliance, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing strategic financial support to management. Experience within the motor dealership industry and Autoline is essential.

POSITION INFO

Description: Manage the full financial function of the dealership. Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. Oversee the general ledger, trial balance, and month-end and year-end processes. Manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting. Monitor dealership profitability and provide financial analysis to management. Ensure accurate processing and reconciliation of debtors, creditors, bank accounts, and cashbooks. Manage vehicle floorplan financing and stock reconciliations. Oversee vehicle stock controls and inventory reconciliations. Ensure accurate VAT calculations and submissions. Manage PAYE, UIF, SDL, and other statutory submissions. Ensure compliance with SARS, IFRS, company policies, and financial regulations. Prepare annual financial statements and liaise with external auditors. Monitor internal controls and implement process improvements where required. Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric). Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Financial Management. Professional registration (SAIPA, SAICA, CIMA, or similar) will be advantageous. Minimum 5 years' experience in a Financial Manager or Senior Accountant role within the automotive dealership industry. Proven experience working on Autoline DMS is essential. Strong knowledge of IFRS, accounting principles, VAT, and SARS legislation. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent analytical, financial reporting, and leadership skills.
