This opportunity is exclusively open to candidates currently residing in either Durban or Saldanha. In line with our client’s local recruitment requirements, only candidates residing in Durban or Saldanha who meet the minimum requirements will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site safety inspections and compliance audits
  • Perform risk assessments and identify workplace hazards
  • Facilitate toolbox talks, safety meetings, and employee training
  • Investigate incidents, compile reports, and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and company policies
  • Monitor and promote a strong health and safety culture on site
  • Maintain accurate SHEQ documentation and safety records

Minimum Requirements

  • Safety qualification or equivalent
  • Proven experience in an industrial or construction environment
  • Strong knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments and incident investigations
  • Strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
