SUMMARY

Our client, an FMCG logistics and distribution , seeks to employ a Regional Operations Supervisor to join this progressive and expanding professional FMCG distribution and logistics team.

Please note this role requires a candidate who has worked in operations for the FMCG to retail supply and distribution sector.

POSITION INFO

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION: You will have a tertiary qualification in Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field. A proven track record in regional operations, warehouse management and FMCG logistics and distribution. You will display expertise in managing multiple operational sites, warehouse operations and distribution activities, as well as proven experience in managing operational KPIs, productivity, service levels and financial objectives. You will have strong experience in stock management, inventory control and minimising shrinkage and stock losses, as well as in driving continuous improvement and implementing operational policies, procedures and SOPs. Proven experience in customer relationship management and maintaining high levels of customer service. You will have experience in managing, developing and leading large operational teams, including performance, training and disciplinary processes. A sound understanding of health and safety, operational compliance and the Labour Relations Act. You will have strong planning, organisational, analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be results-driven, deadline-oriented, self-motivated and able to work effectively in a high-pressure operational environment.
