Job Purpose
Responsible for overall Quality Control at the Production site, ensuring the effectiveness of the Quality Control Management System and compliance with product specifications to consistently deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily quality control checks on incoming raw material, in-process product and finished/packed product.
Conduct daily quality control sample testing for equipment verification and intermediate checks on instruments to ensure 100% accuracy.
Responsible for adhering to the ISO 17025 requirements.
Communicate with Millers/ plant operators on any detected product non-conformances and assist with attempts to bring product quality within required specifications.
Ensuring LIMS is captured accurately and in real time.
Experience And Qualifications
National Diploma in Biotechnology / Analytical Chemistry or equivalent
2 years in Quality Control or Quality Assurance Laboratory in the food industry
At least 1 year exposure to LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) and or data capturing.
Knowledge and or experience of ISO 17025 is essential.
Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and FSSC 22000 will be advantageous
