A client of ours within the construction sector is looking for a Contracts Manager to join their team. Strong experience of structural concrete is essential.

POSITION INFO

Location Johannesburg Requirements 5-10 years' relevant experience Strong background in structural concrete and formworks work, subcontractor, labour management, and site health & safety compliance Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget and to the required quality standards Knowledge of multi-site environment is highly essential Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day site operations- including concrete, formwork, and setting out Ensuring work meets the required quality and structural specifications Plan and monitor construction programmes, coordinating subcontractors, labout teams, and material/consumable procurement to ensure timeous project delivery Maintain a safe, compliant, and well-kept site in line with the OHS Act and Temporary Works Design requirements, fulfilling all duties under the relevant legal appointment Manage subcontractor payment certificates with the Project QS, close out snags promptly and cost-effectively, and ensure a positive on-site customer experience
