SUMMARY

We are looking for an Assistant Supervisor to support night shift logistics operations. The role assists with shift administration, supports the shift team, and helps maintain compliance with applicable labour legislation and collective bargaining provisions.

POSITION INFO

Key Responsibilities Assist in supervising night shift warehouse/logistics staff and support day-to-day shift operations Apply a working knowledge of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA) and Labour Relations Act (LRA) in routine shift-level tasks Support compliance with the NBCRFLI Main Collective Agreement and applicable supplementary industry provisions Complete accurate, timeous shift reports and assist with related administrative and processing functions Support team communication and provide guidance to shift staff under supervision Minimum Requirements & Skills Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification 3-5 years' experience in a warehouse/logistics environment Working knowledge of the BCEA and LRA Familiarity with the NBCRFLI Main Collective Agreement and supplementary industry provisions Good administrative skills, particularly for shift reporting and processing functions Good communication skills, with some supervisory or team support experience Willingness and ability to work night shift
