Our client, a prestigious wedding and events venue in Port Elizabeth, is seeking two experienced Hot Kitchen Chefs with strong meat preparation and cooking experience to join their busy kitchen team on a fixed-term contract until the end of December. Minimum Requirements: Reside in Port Elizabeth Previous experience as a Hot Kitchen Chef or Culinary Chef in a professional kitchen. Proven experience preparing and cooking meat dishes to a high standard is essential. Experience in hospitality, restaurants, hotels or event catering will be advantageous. Sound knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, food safety and hygiene standards. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational and time management skills. Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Willingness to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required by the events calendar. Reliable transport to and from work is essential. Advantageous: Driver's license Fully Bilingual: Afrikaans & English
