SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced

Technical Trainer to develop the technical skills of our production and maintenance teams. The successful candidate will deliver training, identify skills gaps, support employee development, and help improve operational performance through effective training and coaching.

POSITION INFO

Key Responsibilities Identify training needs through skills assessments and consultations with management. Develop, update, and deliver technical training programmes and materials. Facilitate onboarding and technical training for new employees. Conduct skills audits and maintain employee skills matrices. Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. Ensure statutory and compliance training requirements are met. Maintain accurate training records and documentation. Work closely with HR to improve training programmes and ensure compliance. Manage the apprentice development programme and support long-term artisan succession planning. Coach and mentor employees to improve technical competence. Identify performance gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Minimum Requirements Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science. Certified Red Seal Electrician Trade Test. Previous experience at Foreman level or higher . Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment maintenance. Understanding of Quality Management Systems and Continuous Improvement. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Willingness to work flexible hours.
