Key Responsibilities
Operations & Production
Management
- Lead end-to-end production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to maximise productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Monitor production planning, inventory management, and quality assurance standards.
Corporate Operations & Governance
- Oversee the organisation’s administrative functions and ensure effective implementation of internal policies and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with statutory, regulatory, health, safety, environmental, and quality management requirements.
- Strengthen governance systems, operational controls, and organisational processes.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure seamless business operations.
Financial & Business Performance
- Manage operational budgets and support sound financial decision-making.
- Monitor inventory, procurement, cost control, and resource utilisation to maximise profitability.
- Prepare and analyse operational reports and key performance indicators.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimisation while maintaining service and product quality.
Commercial Operations
- Partner with the Sales and Marketing teams to improve customer satisfaction and operational service delivery.
- Support business development initiatives and market expansion strategies.
- Ensure operational readiness to meet customer demand and business growth objectives.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Leadership & People Management
- Lead, mentor and develop departmental managers and cross-functional teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Establish clear performance expectations and drive organisational excellence.
- Promote employee engagement, talent development, and succession planning.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Operations Management, Industrial Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ management experience, preferably within the FMCG, food, beverage, or manufacturing sector.
- Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across operations, administration, finance support, and commercial functions.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong operational planning and execution capability.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Financial and commercial acumen.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
