An established property development company is looking for an experienced

Development Manager to lead residential development projects from feasibility through to final delivery. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality residential communities while working on multiple large-scale developments.

POSITION INFO

Job Description: Manage residential developments from concept to completion Conduct feasibility studies and financial modelling Drive planning approvals and liaise with municipal authorities Oversee design development, procurement, and construction Manage project budgets, timelines, risks, and quality Build and maintain relationships with consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders Skills & Experience: Lead project feasibility assessments and commercial evaluations Coordinate planning, regulatory approvals, and municipal processes Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards Monitor project performance and provide regular progress reporting Identify and mitigate project risks throughout the development lifecycle Minimum 5-10 years' experience as a Development Manager within the South African residential property development sector Proven track record delivering residential or mixed-use developments Strong understanding of South African planning legislation, municipal approval processes, and development regulations Advanced feasibility modelling and financial analysis skills Qualification: BTech/ BEng/ BSc Architecture, Property Development, Construction Management, or a related Built Environment field Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered Contact MALIEKA DAWOOD on , quoting the Ref: CTE028412.
