Project Manager Intern
Braun Management
Braun Management helps executive teams solve complex organizational issues that have become too internal to address effectively. We clarify decision rights and address underperformance for firms navigating European governance or entering new markets.
The Project Manager Intern role exists to support our consulting team as they manage the intricacies of large scale client engagements, including a major project for a large South African client. As an intern, you will focus on the operational backbone of our projects, ensuring that nothing is lost during complex restructuring or market entry phases. This is a fully remote position that requires a high degree of organization and a commitment to clear, evidence backed documentation.
What You Will Do
- Maintain project timelines and update consultants on upcoming deadlines or pending tasks.
- Draft meeting summaries that capture specific decisions and internal accountability assignments.
- Organize documentation related to European governance structures and client specific data.
- Coordinate schedules for executive interviews and team reviews across different time zones.
- Verify that client reports align with previous project findings and gathered evidence.
- Assist in preparing written paths forward that detail organizational friction and proposed changes.
- Monitor project resources and administrative tasks to ensure operational efficiency.
- Collect data on market requirements for clients looking to expand their footprint into the DACH region.
What We Are Looking For
- An interest in how complex business systems operate and how they can be repaired.
- Clear written communication skills with an emphasis on brevity and factual accuracy.
- A willingness to learn about two tier boards, works councils, and European business norms.
- Strong organizational habits and the ability to track multiple moving parts simultaneously.
- Basic proficiency with digital documentation tools and shared spreadsheets.
- A neutral, observational approach to analyzing organizational problems.
- Reliability in meeting deadlines without constant supervision in a remote setting.
How We Work
Our team operates in a fully remote environment that relies heavily on written communication rather than constant video calls. We avoid unnecessary meetings by maintaining thorough documentation and shared project logs. This approach allows us to focus on the unglamorous but necessary work of structural consulting without the distractions of a traditional office. We value precision, intellectual honesty, and the ability to work independently while remaining aligned with team goals.
What We Offer
- Competitive pay for an internship role within the consulting market.
- Direct exposure to complex business problems and executive level consulting.
- A fully remote work arrangement that offers flexibility and autonomy.
- Practical experience with a large South African client and European market entries.
- Mentorship from consultants who value rigorous analysis over flashy presentations.
- A professional environment focused on meaningful work and clear communication.
By supporting our consultants, you help ensure that our clients receive the honest and rigorous analysis they need to move forward. Your work in documenting decision rights and tracking evidence directly contributes to removing the structural friction that hinders growth. In this role, you become a vital part of a team that values precision and provides a clear path for organizational success.
