Accountant

We have an amazing opportunity for an Accountant at a well-established accounting firm based in Johannesburg East! The main purpose of this role is:

• To manage a portfolio of clients, review work performed by data capturers, and collaborate effectively with team members managing parallel portfolios.

We require a candidate with:

• Solid accounting experience (experience is valued over qualifications)
• Proven ability to manage and oversee a portfolio of clients
• Experience reviewing and checking junior staff work (e.g. data capturers)
• A mature, reliable and collaborative working style
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Team leadership or supervisory experience
• Payroll experience is advantageous, but not essential
