Workflow Automation Assistant
Braun Management
Braun Management helps executive teams navigate internal organizational problems that have become too complex for leadership to address alone. We focus on providing evidence-backed analysis to resolve friction and clarify decision rights within shifting business structures.
The Workflow Automation Assistant supports our consulting team as they manage a significant project for a large South African client. This role exists to ensure that the digital systems connecting our internal analysis with client data operate without friction. In this entry-level, fully remote position, you will help bridge the gap between our qualitative research and the automated tools we use to track organizational performance. It is a role for someone who appreciates the unglamorous but necessary work of keeping technical systems organized and reliable.
What you will do
- Assist in mapping out manual workflows to identify where digital logic can prevent data loss or human error.
- Configure and maintain automation scripts that move information between our document databases and project logs.
- Monitor daily automated outputs to ensure accuracy in the reporting for our South African client engagement.
- Document new workflow sequences clearly so that consultants can follow the logic without technical assistance.
- Organize and categorize client data to ensure that all evidence-backed conclusions are based on structured information.
- Participate in internal testing sessions to refine the digital tools we use for tracking organizational friction.
- Support the operations team by suggesting logical improvements to standard administrative tasks.
- Update internal records to reflect changes in how we process and store client evidence.
What we are looking for
- A natural interest in how complex business systems and organizational structures function.
- The ability to write clear, concise instructions that others can follow without confusion.
- Patience for the steady work of data verification and system testing.
- Basic familiarity with logic-based tools or a strong willingness to learn low-code automation software.
- Strict attention to detail when checking files for naming consistency or data accuracy.
- Reliability in a fully remote environment where written communication is our primary tool.
- A structured approach to tasks and the capacity to handle sensitive information with accountability.
How we work
We are a fully remote team that prioritizes precision and clear thinking. At Braun Management, we avoid unnecessary meetings by relying heavily on written documentation. This means every process you build and every update you make must be recorded with enough clarity that a colleague can understand it six months from now. We value the kind of hard conversations that lead to meaningful change, applying that same level of honesty to our internal operations as we do to our client work. We do not value staying busy for the sake of it; we value work that is accurate and evidence-backed.
What we offer
- A permanent, full-time position with a fully remote work arrangement.
- Competitive pay that is attractive for an entry-level role in this market.
- A home-office stipend to help you maintain a professional and ergonomic workspace.
- Structured professional development and exposure to high-level consulting methodologies.
- A work culture that respects boundaries and focuses on the quality of your output.
- Access to the tools and software needed to manage complex organizational data.
By managing the digital infrastructure for our consulting work, you allow our team to focus on solving the structural truths that hinder growth. This role ensures that the paths we build for a large South African enterprise are supported by reliable data and clear, automated processes. Your contribution helps turn complex client problems into manageable, written solutions. We look forward to seeing how your attention to detail will support our team in delivering rigorous, honest analysis.
