A small, established general medical practice is seeking a reliable locum GP to provide maternity-leave cover.

NOVEMBER 2026 Monday, Tuesday & Friday afternoons 1 – 23

DECEMBER 2026 Monday to Friday · 08:30 – 13:00

JANUARY – FEBRUARY 2027 Mondays: full day · Tuesday to Friday: half days, negotiable

One locum may cover the full period — applications for part of the period will also be considered.

General GP practice with a strong focus on non-communicable diseases and mental health. The practice manages very few HIV cases and does not operate as an emergency facility. This is a small practice — the locum will work predominantly independently, with no nursing support.

R E M U N E R A T I O N

Registered for independent practice Current professional indemnity cover Comfortable working independently Experience with EMR systems and billing processes EMR and billing can be taught; onboarding and training time will be unpaid. Rates will be discussed with suitable candidates and may be structured as either a fixed hourly rate or on a commission basis.
