FANG Fences & Guards is hiring: Fencing Specialist (Sales)

FANG Fences and Guards (Pty) Ltd, a leading turnkey fencing and perimeter security provider, is looking for a Fencing Specialist to join our sales team – someone who knows fencing inside and out and can translate that expertise into new business.

This is a technical sales role. You'll need genuine product knowledge across conventional and electrified fencing systems to consult with clients, scope projects accurately, and sell with credibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural sectors
• Conduct client consultations and site visits to assess fencing and perimeter requirements
• Advise clients on the right fencing solution, including but not limited to conventional, electrified, palisade, mesh, and combi systems, based on site conditions and risk profile
• Prepare and present detailed, technically accurate quotations and proposals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Negotiate and close sales in line with company objectives
• Liaise with operational and manufacturing teams to ensure accurate project execution
• Maintain accurate sales records and reports
• Consistently achieve and exceed agreed sales targets

Minimum Requirements

• Proven track record in fencing, perimeter security, or construction-related sales
• Solid working knowledge of fencing products and systems – conventional, electrified, and gate automation
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline
• Excellent organisational and administrative abilities
• Computer literacy, including MS Office proficiency
• Valid driver's licence
• Professional, customer-focused approach
