Duties: Coordinate and facilitate the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting cycles. Perform month-end reporting, financial close activities, and detailed variance analysis. Monitor and control plant costs, ensuring expenditure remains within approved budgets. Produce accurate monthly management accounts and operational performance reports. Partner with departmental managers to strengthen financial controls and improve business processes. Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and enhance financial processes through continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and reporting standards. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) BCom in Accounting or Management Accountant BCom Honours Accounting or Management Accountant CIMA Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a corporate finance environment within the mining or manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. Advanced SAP experience, particularly FI/CO, with exposure to SD and MM modules. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modelling abilities. Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills. High attention to detail with a proactive approach to resolving issues. Valid driver's licence.
