Truck Driver / General Assistant to join their Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced delivery truck driver with a valid South African Code 10 / Code EB who enjoys a hands-on role and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.

POSITION INFO

Purpose: To safely transport industrial tools, equipment and machinery to and from customer sites, ensuring timely deliveries and collections while complying with all road safety regulations. The successful candidate will also assist with general workshop and operational duties to support the efficient running of the business. Responsibilities Safely operating a company delivery truck to transport industrial tools, equipment, machinery and general deliveries Conducting daily vehicle inspections and reporting maintenance requirements Ensuring equipment is safely loaded, secured and transported Completing delivery notes, trip sheets and related documentation accurately Assisting with loading and unloading equipment at customer sites and the workshop Maintaining the vehicle and equipment in a clean, safe and roadworthy condition Supporting the workshop and Operations team with general duties as required Complying with all company procedures and road traffic legislation Criteria Valid South African Code 10 / Code EB driver's licence with a valid PDP Proven experience driving a delivery truck Good knowledge of load securing and safe transportation practices Good driving record with a strong commitment to road safety Physically fit and willing to assist with loading, unloading and general workshop duties Reliable, trustworthy and of sober habits Able to work independently while following instructions and company procedures Good communication skills and a positive, team-orientated attitude
