Architect - Johannesburg

Our client, a well-established and independently owned architectural practice, is seeking an experienced Architect to join their growing teams in Cape Town and Johannesburg. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to contribute to landmark commercial projects for leading South African organisations while working within a collaborative and design-focused environment.

The successful candidate will be involved in the delivery of high-quality architectural projects, from concept development through to completion, while taking ownership of design outcomes and contributing to the continued success of the practice.

• Strong Revit proficiency.

• Excellent design and technical documentation abilities.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to manage multiple project requirements and deadlines.

• Passion for delivering high-quality architectural solutions.

• Develop innovative architectural designs for commercial projects.

• Prepare design presentations, technical documentation and construction drawings.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants and project teams throughout all project phases.

• Manage project deliverables while maintaining design quality and technical standards.

• Provide input and guidance throughout the design and construction process.

• Take ownership of project outcomes and contribute to the growth of the studio.

Minimum Qualifications

• Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.

• Registered with SACAP as a Professional Architect, or eligible for registration.

• Proficiency in Revit is essential.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience.

• Experience working on large-scale commercial projects.

• Strong understanding of architectural design principles, documentation and project delivery.

• Experience managing project stages from concept through construction.

• Exposure to high-profile commercial developments will be advantageous.
