A leading engineering firm in the mineral processing sector is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer with strong commercial acumen and deep technical understanding of processing plant environments.
This role is ideal for an engineer who excels at solutionâselling, understands the realities of plant operations, and can engage confidently with clients on both technical and commercial levels.

Key Requirements Degree: Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering (Mechanical Engineering considered only with strong mineral processing experience) Experience: 5-10 years in technical sales, business development, or process engineering Proven ability to sell processingâplant solutions , not just equipment Strong understanding of mineral processing principles, plant behaviour, and process flow Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into client value High technical credibility and strong problemâsolving ability Willingness to travel when required (Namibia, Northern Cape, Mpumalanga) Role Overview Engage with clients to understand plant challenges and propose fitâforâpurpose technical solutions Drive sales growth through strong technical insight and relationshipâbuilding Work closely with engineering teams to ensure accurate solution development Represent the organisation professionally in client meetings, site visits, and technical discussions Support strategic business development initiatives across the mineral processing sector Ideal Candidate You are technically strong, commercially sharp, and comfortable operating in both plant and client environments.
