Employer Description Our client is a Food Manufacturing Company based in Cape Town Job Description Our client who is based in Cape Town has an opportunity for a Quality Controller. The successful incumbent must have food handling and fresh fruit experience. Inspect all incoming raw materials against specifications Record all findings during receiving Inspect all incoming vehicles against food safety requirements Monitor and verify the quality of products during receiving, storage and production. Conduct shelf life, PH, Brix and organoleptic tests Ensure the final product meets all requirements and that the COA matches the product before it is released Send product samples for micro analysis Compile product specifications Handle customer queries Report on non-conforming products and action the necessary rework Investigate and depending on findings release the stock Partake in internal quality and food safety audits Qualifications Diploma/ Degree in Food Technology or similar Skills 2-3 years' experience with fresh fruit and vegetables A MUST Must be willing to work shifts Salary/Package R15 000 to R19 000 CTC depending on experience Benefits None
