Warehouse Picker - Montague Gardens - R10,000 - R15,000 per month

A well-established company within the electrical, lighting and distribution industry is looking to appoint a reliable and energetic Warehouse Picker to join its warehouse team in Montague Gardens.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, has excellent attention to detail, and takes pride in ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately.

• Accurately pick customer orders according to picking slips.
• Verify stock quantities, product codes and descriptions.
• Prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Pack products securely to prevent damage during transportation.
• Assist with receiving, checking and unpacking incoming stock.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
• Participate in cycle counts and stock takes.
• Report stock shortages, damaged stock and discrepancies.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) – Essential.
• Valid South African driver's licence (Code B) – Essential.
• Code C driver's licence will be advantageous.
• Previous warehouse, picking or dispatch experience will be advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move stock safely.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to work accurately under pressure.
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Willingness to work overtime when operationally required.
