Marketing & Communications Manager - Pretoria, Gauteng

Our client, a prominent national professional organisation, is seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing & Communications Manager to join its executive leadership team on a one-year fixed-term contract.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration.
• 8–10 years' experience in Marketing, Communications and/or Stakeholder Management.
• 6–8 years' experience in a senior management role.
• Proven experience in strategic marketing, communications, stakeholder management and social media.
• Strong knowledge of branding, media relations, digital communications and event management.
• Advanced MS Office skills, including PowerPoint, MS Project and MS Teams.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and relationship management skills.

Advantageous

• Honours Degree in Marketing or Communications.
• Experience within a non-profit or professional association environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated marketing and communications strategies.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and reputation management initiatives.
• Drive brand management, media relations and public relations activities.
• Oversee digital marketing, website content and social media platforms.
• Plan and coordinate corporate events, campaigns and promotional activities.
• Identify and manage sponsorship and strategic partnership opportunities.
• Manage departmental budgets and monitor performance against objectives.
• Prepare executive reports and represent the organisation at key stakeholder engagements.
