Pinetown. An established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced
Branch Manager to lead the operations of its new Pinetown branch. This hands-on role is ideal for a qualified
Millwright or Electrician with 5–10 years' experience in a Production Manager or similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily branch and factory operations
- Supervise factory and administrative staff
- Plan and coordinate daily production and logistics
- Manage raw material ordering, inventory, stock control, and monthly stock takes
- Ensure accurate order picking, dispatch, and deliveries
- Maintain production records and submit daily reports
- Approve employee clockings and oversee attendance records
- Conduct daily inspections of plant and equipment, ensuring defects are repaired
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment
- Open and close the facility, including alarm activation
- Liaise with sales, administration, and factory teams to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Matric
- Qualified Millwright or Electrician
- 5–10 years' experience as a Production Manager or in a similar manufacturing leadership role
- Valid driver's licence
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Good mathematical and report-writing abilities
- Able to work independently and lead a team effectively
- Physically fit and willing to work Saturdays when required
