Curro seeks to appoint Project Coordinator Facilities (Movables) (full-time) at Curro Head Office in Bellville to commence duties in September 2026

Curro is seeking to appoint a Project Coordinator within the Facilities Department (Moveables). The role involves coordinating multiple school projects from concept development through to handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Project Manager (Moveables), schools, suppliers, and contractors to ensure effective planning, procurement, execution, and asset management.

Key performance areas

  • Engage with schools, architects, designers, and stakeholders to define project objectives and requirements.
  • Review and interpret interior layouts, design concepts, and specifications to ensure alignment with standards.
  • Manage procurement processes, including purchase orders, supplier coordination, and compliance with budgets.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, installations, and quality control, including snagging resolution.
  • Oversee commissioning, handover, and post-construction processes, ensuring compliance with operational needs.
  • Ensure adherence to Corporate Identity (CI) and design governance standards.
  • Manage redistribution and tracking of movable assets across schools to optimize utilization and minimize wastage.

Qualifications, experience and skills

  • Minimum: Matric
  • Advantageous: Tertiary qualification in operations or supply chain management
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in project coordination, managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Experience in budget tracking, cost control, and CAPEX reporting advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/365
  • Excellent organisational, documentation, and reporting skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to work independently, proactively, and under pressure
