Role Purpose

As a Business Process Analyst, you will be required to document and evaluate existing business processes in order to improve quality and reduce errors across the Retail Investments, Service and Operations business unit. Your role will entail designing and implementing new business processes to optimise business results.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Previous working experience as a Business Analyst for (5+) year(s)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Financial Management or similar relevant field
  • Advanced understanding of business functions, workflows, and processes.
  • Detailed knowledge of workflow and process control software (Bizagi / VISIO).
  • Experience with team management.
  • Relating and networking - establishing effective relationships with clients and colleagues, networking effectively within and outside of the organisation and relating well to individuals at all levels.
  • Presenting and communicating information - speaking and writing clearly and fluently, with the ability to relay information in a constructive and confident manner.
  • Analysing data of a verbal and numerical nature as well as other sources of information, breaking information down into components, probing for further information and generating workable solutions to problems.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities and Work Output

  • Create process documentation/workflows, knowledge articles and self-service guidance for Momentum Investments
  • Collect and document of business requirements for project and process improvement/automation efforts
  • Facilitate process workflow modeling in order to collaborate on process improvements, automation capabilities and clearly defined end-to-end processes across the relevant Planning Units.
  • Review information and trends to ensure that the output of processes are achieving the desired results and that services are meeting agreed-upon service levels
  • Conduct maturity assessments against the process activities to highlight areas of improvement or concerns
  • Identify issues, gaps and risks and then apply your findings across the planning units where applicable.
  • Bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management
  • Participate in the problem resolution
  • Prepare incident details for post-mortem incident reviews
  • Extract reports and provide a high-level analysis of data for review
  • Maintain a complete understanding of and adheres to all IT policies and processes
