The Role

This Website Development Internship supports our consulting team as we assist a major South African client with their digital infrastructure and internal communication platforms. As we help this client manage complex business systems, the technical presentation of data and internal tools becomes vital. This is a fully remote position where you will assist in maintaining and updating web based assets that support our broader structural work. You will work closely with our consultants to ensure that the technical side of our engagements remains professional and functional.

What You Will Do

• Assist in updating and maintaining company and client web pages using standard content management systems.
• Write simple HTML and CSS code to adjust layout and design according to specific project requirements.
• Test website functionality across different browsers and devices to ensure a consistent user experience.
• Help document technical processes and site architectures to maintain a clear record for the team.
• Support the integration of basic data visualization tools into internal reporting portals.
• Identify and fix broken links, formatting errors, or slow loading elements on internal platforms.
• Collaborate with consultants to ensure that digital tools reflect the latest project findings.
• Monitor site performance and report on basic metrics related to user engagement and site health.
• Contribute to the drafting of technical guides for internal staff regarding new web features.
