A well-established international organisation in the industrial equipment sector is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Procurement Buyer. This role is vital to ensuring the efficient sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of goods and services that meet business needs, while optimising cost, quality, and supplier performance.

POSITION INFO

The successful candidate will have solid experience in procurement, supplier management, and contract negotiation, with the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, global business environment. Qualifications & Experience: 2-5 years' experience in procurement, buying, or supply chain coordination Degree/Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering , or a related field (preferred) Previous experience in a multinational/global environment (advantageous) Key Responsibilities: Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and reliable supply Manage the end-to-end procurement process , from requisitions to purchase order creation and delivery Conduct supplier evaluations, track performance, and build long-term partnerships Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, industry regulations, and contractual obligations Analyse procurement data and prepare reports on spend, cost savings, and supplier performance Support inventory management and coordinate with logistics to ensure the timely delivery of goods Collaborate with finance to align payment terms, credit limits, and invoicing processes Identify and implement cost optimisation and value improvement opportunities Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Outlook) with strong data analysis and reporting skills ERP system exposure (Sage X3, SAP, and Syspro) advantageous Strong numerical, negotiation, and analytical skills Excellent organisational skills, with attention to detail Personality Traits: Assertive and professional with strong communication skills Customer-focused and solutions-driven Adaptable, resilient, and able to thrive under pressure Innovative thinker with a continuous improvement mindset Strong team player who can also work independently Why Join Us?: This is a unique opportunity to join a global market leader where you'll gain exposure to world-class procurement practices, contribute to operational excellence, and play a critical role in driving supplier value across the business.
