POSITION INFO

Our client is a prominent financial services firm headquartered in Sandton, specializing in comprehensive wealth management and financial advice solutions. The Financial Services Operations Assistant provides critical administrative and client service support to a national network of financial planners. Operating from the head office on a full-time basis, this role ensures seamless processing of financial planning requests, maintains CRM data, and manages interactions with product providers and clients. Key Responsibilities Serve as a primary operational contact for financial planners, clients, and endorsed product providers. Prepare complete engagement documentation, client portfolios, and review packs using Astute, Xplan, and product provider information. Scrutinise client data to highlight planning opportunities for financial advisers. Process new business applications, policy amendments, and service instructions accurately within designated turnarounds. Track outstanding requirements, including underwriting decisions, medicals, and platform updates. Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and CRM data in full alignment with internal SLAs. Monitor revenue allocations and track business processing against established operational workflows. Requirements Matric certificate (essential); relevant tertiary coursework is advantageous. 2-3 years of administrative experience within the financial services sector. Practical familiarity with financial products across investments, life insurance, and retirement planning. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Xplan) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong administrative ability with sound data management skills. Attributes High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
