Software Developer (C++, C# & Python)

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Software Developer to join their in-house development team in Rivonia. This permanent opportunity is suited to a seasoned developer who is equally comfortable maintaining existing business-critical systems and developing new solutions from detailed specifications. Applicants must be proficient in C++, C# and Python, with extensive commercial experience in all three languages.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance software applications.
• Perform developer testing on new and existing solutions.
• Maintain and improve C# applications.
• Maintain and enhance web server technologies and applications.
• Design, maintain and optimise relational database structures.
• Develop and maintain in-house tools and frameworks.
• Create and implement data migration and data take-on scripts.
• Provide technical analysis and support to internal teams.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 20 years' software development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in C++, C# and Python is essential.
• Strong relational database design and SQL experience.
• Solid database analysis skills.
• Experience working with Microsoft and open-source technologies.
• Ability to develop solutions from minimal but detailed specifications.

Advantageous Experience

• PostgreSQL or Oracle.
• Linux.
• Software troubleshooting and problem solving.
