AI Agent / Agentic Engineer (Senior)

Our client is looking for a Senior AI Agent Engineer to build intelligent autonomous systems that enhance enterprise productivity and customer experiences. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge agentic AI solutions that automate complex workflows and integrate seamlessly with enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI agents that automate business and engineering workflows.
• Build agentic applications capable of reasoning, planning, and tool utilisation.
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise APIs, data platforms, and cloud services.
• Develop scalable orchestration and workflow automation solutions.
• Collaborate with GenAI, software engineering, and platform teams.
• Monitor, optimise, and continuously improve agent performance.
• Contribute to AI governance and responsible AI practices.
• Produce technical documentation and implementation standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years' software engineering experience.
• Experience developing AI-powered applications or intelligent automation solutions.
• Strong Python development skills.
• Experience integrating APIs and cloud-native applications.
• Knowledge of modern AI frameworks and orchestration techniques.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Advantageous

• Experience with LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar agent frameworks.
• Cloud platform certifications.
• Experience with enterprise AI platforms.
• Exposure to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
