QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER (Training Industry)– Pretoria East
A leading professional organisation is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager with a strong background in education, training or professional learning to oversee quality standards, learning programmes, training materials, assessment processes and continuous improvement.
Minimum Requirements
Degree in Quality Management, Education, Training or an equivalent qualification.
5–7 years’ Quality Assurance experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Proven Quality Assurance experience within an education, training, learning or professional development environment is essential.
Experience in the quality assurance of training programmes, learning materials, assessments and/or online learning platforms.
Experience with Learner Management Systems will be highly advantageous.
Strong report writing, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Detail-oriented, organised and able to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement and monitor quality standards and QA processes for education and training programmes.
Ensure the quality, accuracy and relevance of learning and training materials.
Design, evaluate and monitor training programmes and assessment processes.
Monitor and maintain education-related quality management systems, including reporting, risk and compliance.
Analyse QA results and implement corrective and continuous improvement actions.
Oversee quality assurance of e-learning and learner management platforms.
Work with subject matter experts, trainers, moderators and internal stakeholders to maintain quality and consistency.
Identify training and quality improvement requirements.
Prepare and analyse internal and external quality reports.
Manage and develop QA team members.
Drive a culture of quality and excellence across all educational and professional development programmes.
IMPORTANT: Candidates must have direct Quality Assurance experience within an education, training, learning or professional development environment. Generic Quality Assurance experience from other industries will not be suitable.
