Software C++ Developer

Our client has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Software C++ Developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and developing high-performance desktop applications. The successful candidate will become part of a collaborative Agile team delivering innovative engineering software solutions with international reach.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust C++ applications using Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Design and implement software solutions based on business and technical requirements.
• Participate in SCRUM ceremonies and collaborative development activities.
• Research, design, code, test, and document software enhancements.
• Assist with software support, maintenance, and defect resolution.
• Work closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality software releases.
• Continuously improve development practices and remain informed on modern technologies.

Requirements

• BSc Computer Science or BEng with a strong mathematics background.
• 3–6+ years of commercial C++ software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Excellent debugging and analytical skills.
• Experience working within Agile software development teams.

Beneficial Skills

• MFC development.
• Visual Studio desktop application development.
• CAD or engineering software development.
• Knowledge of Civil Engineering or infrastructure-related software.
