Registered Nurse - Theatre Qualified

An exceptional opportunity is available for a qualified Registered Nurse (Theatre). Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the theatre environment

• Prepare patients, instruments and theatre for surgical procedures

• Assist surgical teams intra-operatively and ensure adherence to aseptic technique

• Monitor and document patient condition pre-, intra- and post-operatively

• Maintain theatre equipment and ensure stock/control of surgical supplies

• Build and maintain strong relationships with patients and multidisciplinary teams

• Contribute to the continued growth and success of the theatre service through exceptional patient care

Minimum Requirements

• SANC Registered

• Degree/Diploma in Nursing

• PB Operating Theatre (Post-basic qualification)

• 3+ years relevant theatre experience
