Registered Nurse - ICU Trained

Our client is seeking an ICU Trained Registered Nurse to join a dynamic Critical Care team in Cape Town. This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated nursing professional with a passion for delivering exceptional care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver specialised nursing care to critically ill patients within the Intensive Care Unit

• Continuously assess, monitor, and manage patients requiring advanced critical care
• Administer prescribed medications and specialised treatments in accordance with clinical protocols
• Operate and monitor specialised ICU equipment to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Collaborate closely with doctors and the multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care
• Maintain accurate patient documentation while promoting infection prevention and clinical governance standards

Minimum Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Nursing

• Postgraduate Diploma in Critical Care Nursing
• Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
• Minimum of 3–5 years' ICU nursing experience
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
