Scrub Sister - Theatre Qualified

An exceptional opportunity is available for a qualified Scrub Sister! Our client offers the opportunity to become part of an established private hospital theatre team. This role is ideal for a theatre nurse with specialist surgical experience who is looking to build a long-term career within a thriving healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative scrub nursing care for surgical teams

• Prepare surgical instruments, equipment and sterile fields for procedures

• Assist surgeons intra-operatively, maintaining strict aseptic technique

• Anticipate surgical team needs and manage instrument/supply flow during cases

• Participate in complex vascular procedures and adhere to theatre protocols

• Monitor and document patient condition intra- and post-operatively

• Build and maintain strong relationships with patients and multidisciplinary teams

• Contribute to the continued growth and success of the theatre service through exceptional patient care

Minimum Requirements

• SANC Registered

• Diploma/Degree in Nursing

• Postgraduate qualification in Operating Theatre

• Specific experience in complex vascular cases (AAA, EVAR, FEVAR)
