POSITION INFO

Our client is a well-established leader in the manufacturing sector, renowned for delivering innovative, high-quality products to a diverse customer base across Southern Africa. With a strong focus on operational excellence, continuous improvement, and sustainability, the business remains at the forefront of the industry. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and monitor manufacturing costs and production variances. Prepare detailed cost reports and profitability analysis. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Monitor inventory movements and perform inventory reconciliations. Conduct cost allocation and product costing exercises. Support month-end reporting and management accounts preparation. Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements. Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: BCom Accounting qualification. CIMA qualification or actively studying towards CIMA is non-negotiable. Experience: 4-5 years' experience as a Cost Accountant Previous Manufacturing industry experience is essential. Proven experience in product costing, inventory management, and variance analysis. Exposure to budgeting and forecasting processes.
