As a Parts Manager, you will oversee the procurement, management, and distribution of automotive parts and accessories within our organization. Your primary focus will be on optimizing inventory levels and ensuring efficient operations in our parts department to support service and repair functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the parts department, including inventory control, order processing, and customer service.
- Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize stock discrepancies and optimize stock levels.
- Collaborate with service teams to forecast parts requirements based on repair schedules and customer demand.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of high-quality parts.
- Monitor sales trends and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly to maximize profitability.
- Train, mentor, and supervise parts department staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all parts handling and storage processes.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory performance and departmental metrics for upper management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in parts management or a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, systems, and standards.
- Demonstrable experience with inventory management software and point-of-sale systems.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
- A valid driver’s license and commitment to continuous professional development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification from a recognized automotive training program or equivalent.
- Experience with electronic parts catalogs and online ordering systems.
- Familiarity with trends in the automotive industry and emerging technologies related to parts management.
