Credit Analyst

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Credit Analyst to join a dynamic Corporate & Investment Banking team. The successful candidate will play a key role in assessing credit risk, analysing complex financial information, preparing credit proposals, and supporting sound lending decisions across a diverse portfolio of corporate, SME, and non-bank financial institution clients.

Experience Requirements

• BCom in Accounting with Honours in Management Accounting or a similar Finance/Accounting qualification
• Experience as a Credit Analyst within a Corporate & Investment Banking environment
• Strong credit risk assessment and financial statement analysis skills
• Experience preparing and presenting credit proposals and credit committee memorandums
• Knowledge of internal credit ratings, Basel principles, and regulatory risk frameworks
• Experience with credit structuring, lending products, and portfolio monitoring
• Strong understanding of industry and business analysis
• Exposure to structured finance, syndicated lending, legal documentation, covenant monitoring, or treasury/FX operations advantageous
• Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
