The University of Zululand (UNIZULU) seeks to appoint an accomplished Director: Remuneration and Benefits.
The Director works with top senior leadership of the institution to develop, implement and communicate policies and processes to manage personnel remuneration and benefits, internal equity and external competitiveness in respect of attracting, retaining and motivating staff, thus balancing the day-to-day tactical and transactional nature of the role, working through a long-term strategic lens.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Human Resources or in a relevant field.
- Registration with a relevant professional body is recommended.
Experience
- A minimum of 7 years’ relevant knowledge and experience in HR, of which a minimum of 5 years should be at a senior management level in a remuneration and benefits environment.
- Thorough knowledge of any HR Software System in order to set up processes.
- Exposure to Tax and Payroll.
