General Worker/Lighting Assembly

POSITION INFO

New Neon Lighting is looking for a reliable, hard-working General Worker to join our lighting assembly team. This role involves assembling rope light onto pre-fabricated aluminium structures. Full training and hands-on guidance will be provided by one of our experienced lighting technicians - no prior assembly experience is required, but a willingness to learn and follow instructions closely is essential. Minimum Requirements: Matric Basic electrical knowledge; understanding of wiring and assembly is advantageous Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work with your hands Strong attention to detail Able to understand and follow verbal and demonstrated instructions accurately Honest, trustworthy, and reliable Good team player with a strong work ethic Key Performance Areas: Assemble prepared rope light onto aluminium frame structures according to guidance provided Work closely with and follow instructions from the lighting technician Maintain attention to detail to ensure quality and consistency of assembly work Handle materials and tools carefully and responsibly Work as part of a team to meet production timelines
