Business Intelligence Consultant

Our client is seeking a motivated Business Intelligence Consultant to join their team in Cape Town. This office-based opportunity is ideal for a data-driven professional who enjoys transforming business requirements into meaningful reporting solutions while working closely with clients to improve business performance through data and technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and implement Business Intelligence solutions.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop SQL queries, ETL processes and data integration solutions.
• Work with Qlik to develop dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation and quality assurance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide practical client solutions.
• Present demonstrations and proof-of-concept solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients throughout project delivery.
• Manage projects from implementation through to successful completion.

Minimum Requirements

• 2+ years' Business Intelligence consulting experience.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on Qlik experience.
• 2+ years' experience with SQL, ETL processes and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team.
• South African citizen or valid South African work permit.
• Fluent in English.
