Our client based on the East Rand is seeking a friendly, customer-focused

Retail Assistant to join their team.

POSITION INFO

Minimum Requirements: Matric (Grade 12) Prior retail sales or shop assistant experience advantageous Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Computer literate and comfortable working with a POS system Strong customer service orientation Well-presented, reliable and professional Able to work retail hours, including Saturdays when required Good organisational skills and attention to detail Own reliable transport will be advantageous Key Responsibilities: Assist customers with product enquiries and purchases Deliver exceptional customer service at all times Process sales transactions accurately Replenish shelves and merchandise stock Ensure the shop is clean, organised and well-presented Receive, unpack and price incoming stock Conduct stock counts and assist with inventory control Assist with opening and closing procedures Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally Work towards achieving store sales targets and maintaining high merchandising standards
