Our client in the Legal sector is seeking a Legal Office Administrator Intern for a fixed-term contract in Gqeberha/ Port Elizabeth
POSITION INFO
Key Responsibilities: Welcome visitors and provide professional reception and front-office support. Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and respond to email enquiries. Assist with general administrative and office support duties. Prepare, scan, copy, file, and maintain physical and electronic documents. Delivering and collecting legal documents. Schedule appointments and assist with diary management when required. Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is organised and up to date. Ensure reception and common office areas are neat and presentable. Maintain strict confidentiality of client and company information. Provide administrative support to the Director and other team members. Perform any other reasonable administrative duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Grade 12 (Matric) is essential. A certificate, diploma, or degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, Office Management, Legal Administration, Public Management, or a related field. Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel). Valid driver's licence (preferred or essential if document deliveries form a significant part of the role). Good command of English and Afrikaans, both written and verbal. No prior work experience required; previous administrative or reception experience will be advantageous. Knowledge & Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good organisational and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Professional telephone etiquette and customer service skills. Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills and a professional attitude. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Basic typing and data-capturing skills.
